Hi guys, the name is akumous -- a gamer -- and this is my blog it is about my one of many passions such as video games. Basically this is centrally my gamer's blog where I will not post about videogames but other geeky material such as anime, comic book films, hardware, and I will occasionally vent about the nonsense that antagonize me about the gaming industry. Although this blog is a work in progress...it is my tool for escapism and fun. Thanks in advance for following my page.

Post Street Fighter V thoughts.
I could take the unapologetic route or I could apologize for last post but that would not be me. Although, I have not been active on my blog as I should, I want to be authentic when I convey my thoughts of how I feel about a product, a service, a company, or a particular person. Going back to previous posts and making edits would undermine my expressive authenticity.
Anyway, I love Street Fighter V, it is by far one of the best fighters ever come out from Capcom to date. It is extremely good because the fighting is good and no matter how many content could have squeezed in the game prior launch and actually release a complete game, if the fighting was not as good as it is, the game would have flopped.
Capcom is a fuck up. There, I have said it, and any fan or person who disagrees with me then they can go and fuck themselves.
Capcom should have put more effort in releasing a complete package -- a Street Fighter game that is on par with the same level of offline content and online content as NetherRealm's Mortal Kombat. How absurd of them to release a game as buggy as it was on the merits of the brand alone! Thankfully, the market has spoken, and the game did not do as well as they hoped. I think it was 1.4 million units shipped...only God knows how many units actually sold, but in conclusion the game did do well.
Despite its mediocre sales, the game is blowing up in the tournament scene, and the fighting game community is doing their fair share of work filling the gaps with tutorial content for beginners which Capcom should have done ages ago.
I hoping we get some more DLC content such as more interactive stages and more characters with diverse fighting styles and more online systems and modes to keep us engage because the game currently feels hollow.
The fighting is addictively fun and the characters sport the best animation and graphical fidelity ever to grace a street fighter title but the lack of modes truly hinders the game from greatness.
To anyone remotely interested...by all means purchase it and use your online resource to get basics of the game because I believe Capcom is sincere about making the game complete through DLC. Additionally, with the positive career the game has going for it through the tournament scene, the game has a bright and growing future for it.
