Review of Dragon Ball Z Resurrection 'F' Director's Cut (Future Trunks Special) SS...

This is superbly done. An extended cut of one of the best Dragon Ball Z movies ever made and animated in contemporary anime. Personally, and in retrospect, I enjoyed DBZ Resurrection of F more than DBZ battle of the Gods not for its superior animation and fight scenes but the delivery of the content as well.

Almost over a year later we have a little TV special treat for Japanese premiere of DBZ Resurrection of F, director's cut, Trunk's Special which is extremely sweet. It is a short retelling of the iconic fight scenes in the Freeza saga, mostly illustrating the epic battles from Freeza's epic transformations to the arrival Goku from his recovered state up to the deaths of Vegeta, Piccolo, and Krillin and finally the Goku's transformation to Super Saiyan.

I am impressed with this segment due to animation.  If only DBS has this level of animation, at least 2/3 of the quality instead of what we have now. Thankfully, I have the entire segment on page and please enjoy this well done segment.

Dragon Ball Super Episode 56, the reveal of Super Saiyen Rose...

DBS as a show has been quite underwhelming as far as entertainment experience...it just sucks in comparison to DBZ and DBGT...Yes I dare say it, Dragon Ball GT is much better than Dragon Ball Super because it has a sense of direction in terms of plot and Super Saiyan 4 design is way much better and creative than the cheapy hair color change that is Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan or Super Saiyan Blue.

Now we have another form, Super Saiyan Rose, for episode 56 in which Black Goku gives his twist on the infamous God transformation form...man, this fucking show is a waste of space..

Despite my bitching, the next couple episodes within this story arc looks extremely promising because we have our heroes, Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks,  time traveled to Future Trunk's dystopian world to face off with the infamous Black, who is by far the most sadistic villain yet -- the only fucking villain this show truly has.

This is a perfect opportunity for the DBS's studio to show off their artistic muscle or lack of thereof, but all cynicism aside, these fuckers better deliver. Outside of one episode -- that cool episode when we were introduced to a infused kaioken with the Super Saiyan Blue technique, Goku versus Hit -- we rarely got anything that remotely illustrates the high intensity fights of Dragon Ball Z. This their moment to shine and bring the show out of mediocrity.

Ugh....Dragon Ball Super is a pain to watch because I know what the franchise used to be....I am curious, how many of you out there have a high regard of Dragon Ball Super and please tell me why because I really want to know.

Injustice 2 – Harley and Deadshot Trailer | PS4

Never Realms, I am admirer of your works because you are the leaders of  evolution when it comes to fighting games unlike certain companies like Capcom. As I said before, graphics or decent graphics is not only essential fighting games but having a game with charm and personality adds substantial mileage to the game's appeal as well.

I challenge anyone to look at Never Realms most recent titles and compare them to other companies and you will understand why they are a commercial success.

Gaming drought, good game that is...oh let's talk about No Man's Sky...

No Man's Sky is finally out to play and my question is are you enjoying it? I hope so because it is a full priced game that has had a lot of hype behind it coupled with a scarcity of good game to play. I will not be surprised if the game sells relatively well due to lack of good games coming out this summer but the does it worth 60 bucks?

Judging from the hours of game play through videos I have watched over Youtube I do not think the game even worth 40 bucks but major praise to Hello Games' small team of less than 20 for creating such a unique game. I do not think there has ever been a game like this that has had so much of support and publicity.

However, I am annoyed for such shallow games like No Man's Sky being priced at full retail...the game seems to incomplete and it probably is since the team promises to add content in future updates and patches but whether or not it is free, only God knows.

I am probably the minority here for not giving these guys my money and that is because this is 2016 and where are the next generation of games that surpass the works of Naughty Dog's Last of Us? Although, graphics or decent graphics are a most, I am more concerned with engaging narrative and gameplay from my games and I am sad to report there is nothing current or new on the horizon for me to look forward to.

I am hoping players like me will make their voices loud by speaking with their wallets so game developers can produce engrossing games instead of cheap shallow cashins for the masses.  And please do not challenge my position by saying the masses like shallow games because they do not. Games with substances always change the dynamic and narrative of gaming history, it is just sad they are few and far between.

Why does Dragon Ball Super exists?

What is the relevance of Dragon Ball Super other than an easy cash in due to the its legacy brand? In retrospect, in Dragon Ball Z, we learned about Goku's origin and the expanded relationships between iconic villains and heroes as Goku's kindness and mercy transformed them to better people - Vegeta and Piccolo comes to mind. However there were some villains that could not be changed but yet gave us the best action set pieces and moments in the franchise history. In other words, I understand the relevance of Dragon Ball Z, it was a practical sequel to Dragon Ball, but I do not understand the importance of Dragon Ball Super.

Trust me, I was one of the many who were super hyped for a new Dragon Ball series. I wanted to see what the animation could have looked like in high definition format animated with modernized tools in placed. We were teased with OVAs and a movie and from what we saw, most of us -- included me -- were pleased.

Sadly, Dragon Ball Super currently has the worst animation I have ever seen to date. It hurts the presentation and the narrative especially when it comes to fight choreographs which is puzzling to me because should be the one aspect the animators should focus on, the fights. Dragon Ball franchise is known for the fight scenes and it is hard for me to fathom why the animators cannot get it right. Despite being heavily edited -- DBS has little to no blood, the sound effects that given the fights more impact have changed dramatically to more subtle and forgettable effects -- I am sure their ways to make the fights more dynamic and memorable. They did it once, with one episode, episode 39 the fight between Hit and Goku, that episode where Goku unleashes his trump card, Kaio Ken fused with Super Saiyan Blue transformation.  However, episodes like that are far and few between especially compared to standard action anime like One Punch.

Outside of the anime presentation, what is the purpose of the narrative, the story, why does DBS exists? To this day I cannot come with an answer other than to make money. Dragon Ball Super does not have a compelling story; and the fight scenes are nothing to talk about...it is by far one of the most disappointing animes to date and the worst anime out there.

They should have hired these guys to for Dragon Ball Super

Remember this OVA? I sure did. I love the animation and still holds up today and it is not that old, I think it came out back in 2008. Although it was an OVA it was a teaser for me of what DB series could have looked like if they were to put back in production. I never would have thought we gotten something as mediocre and cringe worthy as Dragon Ball Super...They should contract these guys to take over the animation department.

Injustice 2 - Official Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle Trailer | PS4

I am really loving the direction Nether Realms is taking this game. This is how you make a trailer Capcom and a fighting. Mortal Kombat 9 to present, Injustice 1 & 2, and Blaze Blue games are the only games that comes to mind where the characters in the games acknowledges their opponent with unique intros and context to their dialogue. Capcom had that going with 3rd but the games mentioned earlier took it to another level.

Why Dragon Ball Super and Berserk animation sucks???

As of a person born of the 1980s anime was not as mainstream and as acceptable as it is now. Additionally, the streaming new anime shows was not possible in the 1990s and early 2000s so you can only imagine the novelty in watching new episodes of Dragon Ball Super. Sadly, the novelty is short lived due to the animation being so atrocious.

I really had thought overtime especially from the internet backlash that the show's animation is going to get better, especially in the new future trunk's story arc, but I was wrong. I did not post a review of episode 50 and 51 because there was nothing much to talk about. Barely any action due for a more story driven base episodes.

To me the best animators of DBZ where in the Cell Saga and Buu Saga, especially the final confrontation with Goku and Vegata against Majin Buu. The animation then is ten times better than the current Dragon Ball Super. I do not get it?!! Why is DBS production values so below standard? Why the fuck they are being so cheap for a legacy franchise like DB? The logical answer is more profit, obviously, but it hurts the visual experience.

I have had said it many times, that DB franchise is known for its fighting, and although the animation is not consistent, the animation is fluid and memorable when it does. Dragon Ball Super is just a pathetic successor to franchise in the animation department.

There is another series resurrected from the grave and that is Berserk...The animation is not as bad as DBS but it is a different format, CGI, and it is done poorly. If there is one thing I valued most about Japanese anime is its superb animation and it sucks major franchise such as Dragon Ball and Berserk getting the low tier treatment.

Enjoy your profits by keeping your production values low as dirt to get more money in your pockets...but I will assure you, users like me will never ever support you by buying the digital and physical mediums.

Balrog and ibuki impressions and review and other random stuff

I spent roughly seven hours playing with Balrog online in ranked matches in Street Fighter V...normally guys who cares about their points and is learning a new character will play in casual matches before taking said character in rank matches but I am little different. Ironically, I do hate losing points as much as the next guy but I will care more in honing my skills faster in that environment as opposed to casual matches due to the higher stakes involve.

I like Balrog's design. They did a great job with his visual design, his moves, and his classic Street Fighter II Vegas stage is my best stage so far.  In respects of Balrog's move set, on the other hand, I do not like the lack of a proper reversal move -- the only reversal he has is his V-reversal is his headbutt which used to be his command normal. I think limiting his headbutt to a V-reversal and not giving the character a proper reversal attack was a bad move from Capcom. Outside of that,  his normal attacks are OK and he has a cool set of mix up attacks and he is a lot of fun to play with but he had more options in his SFIV iteration.

I like Street Fighter V better than I like Street Fighter IV but some characters like Balrog, ibuki, and Zangreif for example had more moves in their repertoire. Although the visual aesthetics in SFV are ten times better than SFIV, some characters' moveset feel degraded in comparison.

The massive update is finally here and it is OK...the game feels more complete than it ever did before despite the update giving us more bugs a couple more online bugs -- points are not  being computed in the display prompt screens post online matches but the player is still being credited, thankfully -- the error messages are annoyingly distracting. Additionally, Rage Quitters have yet to be properly penalized, and the player's online profile is still incomplete. The game still has a lot of work to be done but it is better game today with 20 unique characters and extra content.

Regular guy's review... Disney's Zootopia

I am impressed. I am even more impressed such a film came out from Disney's animated workshops because it has been years since I had been captivated by a Disney movie. I had initially thought it was a Pixel film due to the maturity of the topics covered.  Zootopia is truly a masterpiece and a film that can be watched by all ages and cultures. I highly recommend this film as a purchase to own because although it is lighthearted, funny, and witty, it tackled a lot today's social economical issues -- gender discrimination, racial stereotypes, and prejudice -- in a charming and enlightening manner.  This is a good conversational opener for the parent and the kid to have these types of discussions, especially the topic of cultural diversity.

I always argue with my friends and random people on the internet that animated content today targeted for kids is so brain-dead and ridiculous compared to shows of yesterday, so you can only imagine how happy I am to come across such an enlightening and fun film.

This is undoubtedly one of Disney's best films.  It is a cultural classic. A multilayered film that is enjoyable and well written film that speaks to us all regardless of age. Any film that bravely speaks out about sensitive issues, the issues that divides us, and put us in state a of mind to be socially conscious and teaches children not to follow in our negative footsteps is a strong recommendation for me.

Thank you to the great minds behind that crafted this marvelous film and thanks to Disney having the balls to put out such a film that touches on the many sensitive topics that hinders us from growing together as a society.

Regular guy's review of Batman V Superman the Ultimate Edition, extended cut, rated R version review.

I am sorry but the movie is rubbish. Before I am being demonized here me out. I am a fan of Man of Steel and I am a massive fan of the movie 300, so I like Zack Synder's work -- most of them at least -- because he is visual director and his fight choreographs for said films were amazing.

I do not, however, like his latest work, Batman V Superman, and I never watch the theatrical version because I was not interested due prior intuition of the film. I felt at the time, due to the way the movie was handled -- the marketing and the re-edits of the film to compete against Captain America Civil War and the Avengers Franchise, and the direction -- it was going to be a mess of a film and I was right.

To the director's credit, I gave the movie a watch, the best version -- Batman V Superman the Ultimate Edition -- and it left me a bad taste in the mouth. The movie's tone was so gloomy, dark, and dull...and the dark cinematography of the film did not help to change my mood either. I understand the direction they were going but they should have sprinkled a little bit a fun and lightheartedness in the film to balance out the dark tone.

Secondly, I did not like the portrayer of the iconic characters we all known and loved for so many years. Superman, this version of the character, is a little too hurt headed and uncharacteristic compared to other iterations of the Man of Steel. I would have liked to see more screen time of Superman, more dimensions of the character, more scenes with interacting with the troubled scenes of the earth, light hearted scenes. They could have taken couple pages from Christopher Reeve's classical Superman films -- Superman I and II -- for inspiration in respects comic relief to humanized the character more.

And there is Ben Alfeck's Batman...I do not know what to say about his version of Batman...I could simply blame the director's vision but I do not like this Batman. This Batman, in my humble opinion, is impractical and an extremely troubled Batman...this is a very dark character. They could have explored the character's background as to why he is the way he is.

Additionally, the random flashbacks did not help the pacing of the movie either...I know there were a few little comic book references but the execution was poorly done. It was a poorly done film overall, the extended version just made the movie even more of a chore to watch because it clocked in at 3hrs instead of trimmed theatrical version.  On the other hand, viewers who had watched both versions said this extended director's cut version made more sense but for me the movie is trash.

If you are remotely curious and you are a massive fan of these two iconic characters, please watch with caution because the movie will ruin your perception of these characters. However if you are not a fan of the characters and curious, by all means watch it, but you will not have a good time. Actually, I do not recommend this film to anyone...it is a comic book film done extremely wrong. Watch Deadpool, that is a better film -- a comic book film done right due to its faithfulness to the source material.

They should have given us a proper Superman sequel, Man of Steel II, giving the character a time to blossom on the silver screen. Man of Steel, in a sense, revived the character and made him more relevant in terms of theatrical releases. Though it was a flawed film, it was well done Superman film, way better than Bryan Singer's version. I wanted to see a proper sequel...than this garbage. I am hoping they will listen to fans issues and not repeat the mistakes in future installments.

Game of thrones season 6 review

I got on the game of throughs bandwagon back when season 3 was completed. I did not care about it then because I did not want to fall in the hype train so watched it after three seasons were completed and I was hooked. Game of thrones is shaping up to be the best fantasy tv series ever.

Having said that, I do not think season 6 would not have been so impactful if it were not for prior seasons; they were needed supplements. Season 6 is by far my most memorable and filling season out them all. Game of thrones has not lose its touch. The events and the revelations of this season has changed the game. Jon Snow's past has been revealed. Cercesie's enemies had met their fate by her cunning actions by the cost of her last living child. She is no longer grounded by love her children. She is now queen and I cannot wait o see what chaos she will cause as the new ruler of the seven kingdoms.

Game of throne's lore has gotten even more interested due to this seasons. I only finished one book despite owning the first 4 novels of soon to be 6 book series. Yes I am aware that there is a 7th but we still are waiting for the 6th book to come out which should be sometime this year. I am curious of how season 7 is going to pan out since the tv series is ahead of the source material. However, I predict, season's 7 well focus on Cercesi's rule as the queen and conflicts she will face just to give the author enough time to bring out the books. Game of thrones may go on for 10 seasons because on average it takes the author 5 years to release a book.

In all, Game of Thrones is an amazing series, it is purchase to own worthy material and it is the best genre of its kind to date.

Capcom did it again!!!....Street Fighter V Balrog and Ibuki delayed again!!

I am not mad...because as I said earlier Capcom has done good this time around. It is true that this massive update will come out this Friday, July 1st 2016, instead of late June as planned but this time we are getting two DLC characters, a new classical stage from Street Fighter II, a few alternate versions of the current stages, and a massive cinematic story content to plow through. They communicated this post CEO grand finals with an impressive reveal trailer that has teaser clips of last two DLC characters for season one.

The reason why I am not mad because this was communicated in a timely fashion, a big tournament venue with tons of journalist, and they gave us some media content to wet our appetites until the big date. The delay is not that big of an issue for me since prior characters were available the last three days of the month, so waiting an extra couple of days is not bad at all. They are doing a better job in communicating with the fans and defusing probable issue than they did before. For instance, Alex was a major anticipated character, and his road was an neglected one. Capcom, did not give us any teaser or word when he was coming out. We all had thought he was coming out in the middle of the month instead of the 27th of that month. Additionally, there was a character reveal trailer until the very last minute. Fans of the PC platform who hacked the game, made a trailer to cater to the crowd which was sad. Although, they gotten better with Guile, it was not until Ibuki's probable reveal and release that they decided to buckle up and get their shit together due to the major backlash they gotten from the fanbase.

I heard news that there is a divide between the communication levels of Capcom USA and Capcom Japan which probably is true because if ever work for a company there is sometimes issues between different departments not being on the same page. Many of us probably do not care since that is internal issue that has to be fixed if the company wants to fulfill its corporate agenda.  In today's gaming industry transparency between departments and social media is of the highest priority if a company wants to be successful. Consumer feedback, especially when it comes games, is an invaluable resource.

As I say, Capcom, you can look at Blizzard and NetherRealms for inspiration or if you are too prideful take cues from your fan base and the hardcore fighting game community.  On that note, I have nothing much else on this topic. I am excited for Ibuki and Balrog and I cannot wait to see what Capcom has in store for us. However, they really need to work on the rage quitters situation and finishing up the ingame character profile data...they have a lot work but so far SFV is shaping up to be game what it should have been, several months ago.

Capcom FINALLY DID good: Ibuki, with the extra content and stages, will come out with Balrog and his classical stage!!!

Yes you read that right after an explosive fighting game tournament between Tokido and the then undefeated Street Fighter V player, Infiltration -- Tokido's performance was explosive, impressive, and technically enlightening -- Capcom's representation changed our cynical hearts by showing off an impressive trailer, of Balrog.

Balrog, looks fucking sick, and I am to hear his tagging along with ninja girl Ibuki with his classic Vegas stage, revamped and modernized, SFV style.  Additionally we had a teaser reveal of the two remaining characters, Juri and the surprisingly clothed Urien. Good fucking move Capcom, you guys gave more and it was an welcoming surprise.

So this is what we are getting by the end of June -- ironically the Capcom representative said this Friday, but Friday is July 1st, so I would like to believe is an error in communication, anyway -- Ibuki, extra costumes, cinematic story mode, day to night versions of current stages, revamped online net code and fixes, balrog and his classical stage. I am hyped! Thank you Capcom, you did good and doing good for the community. It is about fucking time!!

As for the remaining characters that were teased in Balrog's reveal trailer...Juri looks like Juri and it his hard to say how she plays because everything went so quickly. I am hoping they make her fighting style more Taekwondo based than her Street Fighter IV counterpart and I am happy she was chosen instead of Rufus. Juri and C.Viper were the two best new characters from Street Fighter IV and I am just happy they went one of them.

As of Urien...the trailer did not show much but there is one thing I have noticed and that this iteration of Urien is clothed -- he sports playboy's business casual attire -- a suit with couple button down dress shirt -- and I will not be surprised if his V-trigger drastically changed his appearance by surge of energy bursting off his clothes....lol...you read here first folks!! I cannot wait to get my hands on balrog, he looks like a beast..

Capcom I have one request for season 2 and that is please bring in Fei Long into the fold. We cannot have a fighting game without a Bruce Lee clone. I am dieing to see what you guys going to do with him in terms of design and moves. I know Akuma will eventually find his way in the realm of SFV once destroyed some characters in Tekken 7; he is guaranteed and we will probably get an evil ryu version down the line. BUT...please bring back the master of the incepting fist, clone, Fei Long...

Should I dare talk politics on here or leave it just for gaming and nonsensical stuff?

I think I will talk politics, just a little, not too much since I will get heated. I am just going to keep it simple and diplomatic in order to find a balance and not antagonizing my limited viewership.

America is a troubled country with a lot of social economic issues and we are country that is lost. We are divided and confused.  We are cynics solely because our governments have abandoned us due to their individual agenda, greed.

We, regardless of creed and ethnicity, want a better life for ourselves. Personally, I do not think either candidate is suitable for the job but the American people with unified efforts have the poor to change game.

In other words, we should not depend of governments to do the right thing, but we as the people should make our voices loud in making them doing their job by being more active and informed. And in that respect that is all I am going to say about politics, for now.

Nintendo's NX may use cartridges as their storage medium for games...??!1

I came across this news via a random Youtuber and decided to do some research myself and it may be true but it is not officially been announced by Nintendo yet..

Honestly I do not care if it is cartridge or not but cartridges tends to be better medium for playing games due to lesser load times and durability but the production cost is higher.  This is Nintendo's way of being unique and breaking the conventional mold of console gaming.

Hey, Nintendo, if you get your games fit on a cartridge and they run better without any compromise and the price is the same then I am all in. BUT!!! You are new console is nothing without quality games and third party support so tread lightly Nintendo.

DRAGON BALL SUPER EPISODE 49 REVIEW AND THOUGHTS!

You may ask how is this guy watching DBS and it has not been dubbed and transferred to American soil? Well thanks to the dedicated and passionate fans of the internet they are many streaming fan made web sites where one can watch these episodes in English subtitled form.

Now on to this episode, it was one of those lay back episodes or informative ones where trunks conveyed the his ordeals from the past the reasons why he traveled to the present time. This episode, though relaxed it was not boring or trivial. The episode kind of alluded that Black Goku may be a God since, as Whis said, "time traveling is a serious offense. A crime. That is why Gods are prohibited from it. Since it can ruin the harmony of things." This particular scene was quite informative but yet comical at the same time due to the cast easily persuading Lord Beerus not to punish them....I will not spoil what they did but fans of the series could easily predict what it was.

The episode was not grim at all. It had a balance of both comedy and seriousness and to be honest I like how this arc is spanning out. And as you guessed it, Black did find his way back to the current time interrupting Goku and Trunks little spar. It seems that is one of his abilities because he may be a God of Destruction or some form of God like Beerus.

The teaser highlights of episode 50 seems action packed since Goku and Black face off in battle. Inclusion, this episode was a good, one I recommend watching...as you can see I have not spoil much and left out a few other stuff, so you use your trusty good search engines and watch the episode now.

Outside of Dragon Ball Super, are you guys excited to see episode 10 of Game of Thrones tonight?

I don't watch Cable TV!! Is it valid anymore.

Hi my name is Dev and I am a game. I would not consider myself a millennial -- an individual born in the 2000s -- because I am generation X -- I was borned the 1980s era. During my time growing up, I was considered a game-freak, a geek, and a weirdo because I watch anime, play games, and play magic the gathering instead of playing football and doing what those cool kids did in that era during their teenhood.

Now times have changed huh?! It is cool to be gamer. The gaming industry is a multibillion dollar industry and it has become legit because of it. Comic book films draws in more revenue to Hollywood films more than anything else. Yeah, times have changed, and I am fucking loving it.

However, the question is cable TV valid in this day and age? Personally, I do not have cable, I don't care for it. I consume most of media content from Youtube and I watch my movies from Netflix and other streaming services for anime and so on. Youtube has much more content that tailors for me in an immediate fashion than Cable TV can ever deliver.

I am currently watching a major fighting game tournament, CEO 2016, while I am constructing this blog. Um, the only thing that saves cable from going into complete extinction is sports. Once Sports crosses over firmly then Cable is going to be done.

Most kids or millennials do not even own a PC and they care for it because they have all the computing properties and entertainment needs within their respective model devices -- whether it is a smart phone or a tablet.  Which explains the lack of focus in the PC market...owning a PC has become a niche market for a selective few. The money, as far as gaming goes, is in mobile devices. Console gaming, however, is quite valid due it adapting and broadening its flexibility with cross platform gaming and implementing mobile functions and options.  For instance, current consoles have built in apps for streaming via popular streaming websites such as Twitch and Youtube. Secondly, I can use my PSN app to download and install games far from home and then come home meeting said content installed and ready to play. It those conveniences that solidifies the console's relevance for today's gamer.

But what about cable tv? The prices for cable tv is so ridiculous compared to the alternatives.  The internet is so massive and resourceful when it comes to media consumption.

I predict, 10 years from now, the millennials, especially the ones with an entrepreneurial spirit is going to change the game. Cable TV, is going to be obsolete, or at least cater to niche market.  They will be laws in support of "free internet" instead of laws designed to impede it due to corporate relics reluctant to adapt and accept change. E-sports will be as big as American Sports in America and then on a Global scale instead of less than a handful of selective countries such as Korea, for example.

Imagine, a significant number of Generation X and Millennials today spend most of their idle time watching Youtube videos of user content of all sort of nonsense and informative things. And once our generation becomes the marketed majority in terms of dollars per se then the way how society consume content is going to change for the better. That is if you are a geek like me...:)

Mark of Wolves 2....Prediction so of the next episode of Dragon Ball Super Episode 48 and other stuff.

I cannot wait to see episode 48 for Dragon Ball Super and is it....:)....I will not go much into it since it is best I do my review after the episode is watched. Sorry, I am quite random like that and who knows I will probably will delve more into it before I end this segment but before that let me talk about a game called Fatal Fury Mark of the Wolves.

Gaura Mark of the Wolves or Fatal Fury Mark of the Wolves, was SNK's answer to capcom's Street Fighter III 3rd strike.  Both games were the pinnacle fighting games of its time bot in graphical presentation and fighting mechanics. 3rd Strike has the parry system going for it and Mark of the Wolves have the just guard system -- which is remotely similar in concept to the parry system but much easier in execution and it not only nuffy attacks but rewards players with little health.

I as said a few times, SNK games, in my regard, are more charismatic in character presentations and the games are much more rewarding and fun. Sadly, Capcom games are much more popular but not really better. SNK, initially copied from Capcom and then found its own rhythm or differentiation as time goes on.

Mark of the Wolves done a better job in evolving the series and the story and it did not alienate the player base by introducing weird characters like Capcom's 3rd strike.  I always wanted a sequel to Mark of the Wolves because it is such a fun game. I had the game for the sega Dreamcast and I have a few copies of emulated version on my harddrive in the storeroom somewhere. However I have been dying a real sequel and continuation to the story.

SNK knows how much we want a sequel and I guess if King Of Fighters 14 sells well -- if the netcode does not suck then it will sell well on its own merits -- then we will probably get a true sequel to Mark of Wolves

I found a screenshot of pre-work of Mark of the Wolves 2 at eventhubs.com. SNK was working on the game at some point but it was canceled. The game probably was canceled due to the company's poor financial standing at that point. SNK was going through some economic hardships during the early 2000s and they went bankrupt until a company bought them out and then it became SNK PLAYMORE. We know now as SNK because the company is going back to its roots and they may revitalize some neglected franchises such as Fatal Fury.

I am sad this game did not come out...sources said it was suppose to come out 2005 but it got canceled. That is OK...I believe we will see a resurrection of this iconic series. I just hope when they work on this, the company finds its footing in mastering the 3D modeling because I still think KOF14 graphical presentation looks atrocious.

I think fighters should have a decent or a superb presentation instead of dated like graphics you know or at least have an amazing art style. Look at Nintendo's games for example. There are not technical advance but the game's art style more than compensates for it.

If you guys want to see a return of the Mark of Wolves please spread the word around and blow up SNK forums to let them know that you want to see this game into fruition. The more fighting games the better it is for the community.

Partaking in SFV survival mode to unlock colors 1-10 for each costume is FUCKING ANNOYING....PATCH IT!!!

These costumes look cool right? Yeah they do and trust me I will be rocking them probably if I were to buy them or earn through in-game currency.

However, is not annoying that we, the player, have to grind in Street fighter V's boring, time consuming, and taxing survival mode? Capcom please patch this or give us an alternative option to acquire colors 1-10 and once we completed trial for said character(s) the colors should be unlock for all costumes by default. Or do it classical SF4 style by playing the character unlocks the colors.

I swear...whoever designed that in the game should be fired.  Playing a game regardless of genre should be run and rewarding. Not a fucking chore. It is obvious due to the game's lack of content someone genius implemented this grind fest fuckery to unlock additional colors. However it is not fun, and I am one of the many players who just does not partake in that nonsense. FIX IT.

Dragon Ball Super Episode 48 review "NO SPOILERS"

Bravo to the animation team for getting the animation up a notch! So far the Trunk's story arc has not disappoint, yet.  The 48th episode -- HOPE!! Again - Trunks Wakes Up in the Present -- is currently available in an unsubtitled format since the English subtitled version is not as yet.

The episode started off with a bang,  despite having no clue of the dialogue exchanges between each character mean since my Japanese is a little sloppy, but visually I felt Trunks extreme contempt for Black Goku since he was the one responsible for murdering his beloved ones -- his mother, Bulma, and his presumed girlfriend, Mai -- and putting the remaining planet's population in extinction. The fight between Future Trunks and Black was explosive with minimal dialogue exchanges and yes Trunks did turn into Super Saiyan with his fight against Black Goku. I read multiple comments about fans' concerns as to why Trunks did not transform but rest assured he did transform and the fight between them two was viscerally intense and entertaining.

Without going too much into spoiler territory, trunks indeed escaped the wrath of Black -- I am going to call him Black Goku  Black for now on.  Initially, I thought Black was a cheaply designed character and why the creators could not have been a little more creative but I am loving this character's design a lot.

Despite the series having a rough start since its initiation, Dragon Ball Super has better spacing than Dragon Ball Z. Fights are not drawn-out and there is a little more character development and conciseness in non-filler episodes, even the fillers are concise as well.

Since this is the second episode of the Trunk's story arc, there is still a lot of unanswered questions. We still do not know the origins of Black's character and where that "Goku" came from because Goku in Future Trunk's timeline has died ages ago. And even though the events of that timeline have been resolved all of the Z warriors were dead. Trunks and Bulma were only the remaining survivors.

Obviously there are quite a few plot holes and the creator, Akira Toriyama is notorious known of forgetting his own story material. Shit I can vividly recall DBS episode of Piccole eating food despite Namekins are known for drinking water as they main nutritionment source. Nonetheless, I curious to see how they going to explain this, especially the backstory of Black and why he has such a strong hatred for the Sayian race.

Disclaimer, " I watched the episode a second time, the English Subtitled version, and I was not too far off of what was being said between characters so I guess my bootleg Japanese was not too shabby after all..:)"

Dragon Ball Super, thanks to the Future Trunks story arc, is shaping up to be on par with what is to be expected for a Dragon Ball anime. Although, the lack of blood and subdued violence still bothers me from time to time, the new arc has rekindled my optimism for the franchise.

DBZ is known for its frantic fighting and it introduced new and amazing characters, villains, expanded the lore -- Goku's origins, for example -- and taken the characters into new heights with omnipotent forms like the Super Saiyan Transformation.

I am still trying to gauge the relevance of this new DB franchise. I will not consider the new form, Super Saiyan God, as a vital inclusion to the series. Personally, I think the Super Saiyan concept is cooler and visually more appealing than the Super Saiyan God forms, even DBGT's Super Saiyan 4 was more creative in design. My issues aside, I sincerely want the series to do well.  Unlike DBZ and in a sense DBGT,  DBS has more character development. Main characters relationships with lesser characters are more fleshed out, for instance Vegeta's relationship with Bulma and his son; in DBS he has more depth as a character rather than his DBZ counterpart. And in that respects, I think Dragon Ball Super should touch more on character development so when characters do fight they would be more substance behind the fighting.

I am sorry for babbling...this was suppose to be an episode review and just that but at least my readers know my position on the series, this is a blog, my blog and I should have the liberty to express myself right.

Great episode nonetheless. It is a bloody shame I have to wait until next week to see what will happen next. Good job for the animation team in capturing the spirit of the DBZ fights. I see there is some minor improvements in the animation quality so good job in that department as well.

I will write up more reviews of animes I am currently watching in the future. I am still waiting for One Punch Man season 2 to be available. I have a backlog of other anime to watch such as Gundam orphans...actually I need to get back in watching that.

Fan made -- BLACK GOKU VS TRUNKS....this is probably better than the original

Spreading the love. This guy did an amazing job capturing DBZ feel in this piece. As of now, the next episode of DBS is not out and I doubt it will be this good. Enjoy.

Post E3 conference thoughts, mostly on Nintendo...

I may be wrong but I think Nintendo only had one major game to show for its console platform and another for its handheld platform, so in conclusion they only had two games to show for E3.  As a former Nintendo fanboy, I found this to be sadly comical and a little curious of the company's position and relationship with 3rd party developers. Do they value nintendo's relevance of this day an age or Nintendo is just a relic that is reluctant to change. It could be both...

Anyway, after watching all of the Zelda videos on youtube, I have become very fond of the game...if I have any criticism, I wish the game's open world to be more lively with more wildlife to give the game that sense of immersion and illusion.  If cannot be done due to the Wii U's graphical limitation then make these additions possible on the next console. I think this Zelda is the best game yet because it is not the safe traditional Zelda we know. This Zelda game is more modern and conventional. Nintendo has finally broken out of their comfort zone by taking an extreme turn. Yes prior Zelda games have made drastic changes to the framework of what make Zelda game, Zelda. But not to this level.

Link does not even start out with his traditional gear. Weapons can be acquired by loots of defeated enemies. The game has taken an open world approach by giving the player true freedom. There is no specific order in terms of how a player should play the game. A player can go to any dungeon in particular order he or she sees fit.  Additionally, a lot of systems from other games are implemented here as well, such as crafting, looting, and other systems that make sense.

This is Nintendo's only major game...and I hope they go all out. I may pick this one up but I am waiting to see the graphical and gameplay differences with the Nintendo's NX version before I buy it.

Nintendo's 2016 E3 segment is..atrocious and..

Underwhelming...Nintendo is done in my regard. If I were a Nintendo Wii U owner, which I am not, thank God, what game other than The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, I have to look forward to? Nothing! That is a failed console and any smart gamer that has not owned a Nintendo Wii U console will wait it out for the next console, the Nintendo NX, to play new Zelda title.

Nintendo's E3 conference is the worse out of the three. They have nothing to show to fans other than Zelda and Pokeman and there is absolutely nothing there to usher in new users.

To be honest, I am not even impressed with the New Zelda title...it looks dated and behind in terms of gameplay innovation. There are so many alternatives that have done it be better, the only thing it has going for it is its legacy name.

Nintendo I think you should focus your resources and making software and exit out the hardware department. The company is stuck in a vacuum. I am sorry if I hurt some nintendo loyalist out there but it is the truth. The Nintendo Wii, catered a market that was ignored -- the casual market -- and it struck gold. They sold tons of consoles but the console's quirky control design alienated a lot of developers coupled with its underpowered gaming system which could not ports properly. They tried their luck with the Wii U but they failed in that department as well.

The only thing that saves Nintendo is its first party titles and every Nintendo fan knows if you want to play there games you have to own their console.  However, there are so many innovative and better third party games out there that are not on Nintendo's platform.

The gaming market has changed...and only Sony and Microsoft are making efforts to remain relevant. Nintendo is still lost in time.

E3 thoughts prior to Nintendo's conference.....akumou's top picks thus far!!

I am rooting for all three consoles to make some major impact in the gaming industry and so far out of the two I have seen, only one has moved me. By the end of the day it does not matter how powerful the tech is under the hood of a console, but the games the console is pushing out and so far Sony is the one that making the most noise with quality exclusive games.

I am going to start this off by talking about the "new" God of War. Some may called it God of War 4 but I do not think the protagonist is the same. There is no mention of referring the to the protagonist as Kratos and besides this character has a son whereas Kratos family were murdered and Kratos literally reset everything in his universe -- everything was murdered; her murdered all Gods That consequently destroyed all walks of life.

I am emotionally moved by this new direction of God of War...it seems the developers are taking the narrative route which is a delightful welcome in my regard.  In this God of War, the main character has a son. His boy, a child, is a novice to hunting and killing, where the main character is a seasoned hunter and killer. In the E3 demo, the father is teaching his son how to hunt. Although the boy is eager he is not as strong and fearless as his father.  When it comes to character depiction the demo centralize on the dynamics between the father and his son as they encounter minor obstacles during their hunt.

Watching a few moments of the trailer one can immediately tell that this is not the same God of War we are used to. Fans are currently debating if the protagonist is actually Kratos, which I highly doubt it.

I spent way too much time on this because there were other games that impressed me. For one, there is The Last Guardian which is high on need to own list. Another emotionally charged game but unlike God of War, there is no chaos and trolls and beasts to murder. This game is finally coming out and I cannot wait to get my hands on it.

Death Stranding, is the last game I am going to talk about. This is Hideo Kojima's new IP and first game after the nonsense he had with his Konami. I do not know what to say about this game. The demo showcases a lot of symbolic messages that resonates with me because I think it will touch on such topics as global warming, greed, capitalism, consumerism, and other topics where most people are afraid to talk about. The trailer is ambiguous, symbolic, quirky, and artistic...I do not know what type of game it is other than Kojima game.  Although I want Microsoft to be relevant because competition is always good, I was not impressed by MS first party titles. So far it was Sony that had all of creative titles that pushed narrative. We need more games that go in that direction.

Today is Nintendo's turn and I cannot see where they going to go and what games they have to offer. I am rooting for Nintendo to bounce back, and bounce back hard because if the next console is mediocre in specs department with another funky controller then it's time for Nintendo to leave the console market.

Personally, I think Nintendo should focus on making software for other platforms and mobile games and leave the hardware department.  Anyway let us see if they can prove me wrong.

E3 2016 cinametic preview of Akuma vs Heihachi Tekken 7 – E3 Trailer | XB1, PS4, PC

If you guys did not know I am a massive akuma fan. This is an epic trailer illustrating showdown between two of the most badass characters in fighting game history - Akuma and Heihachi. Watching this trailer makes it more evident that SFV is empty with the God of Fists himself. Capcom we need Akuma!!

What Final Fantasy means to me in the wake of E3 and it is possible playability..

I am indifferent. I do not care about Final Fantasy franchise anymore. It is not the same. Perhaps there is a sliver of hope with Final Fantasy 7 remake but once again Square Enix is taking the "milking" route by exploiting the its legacy and release the title installments.

That approach antagonized me, obliviously. I would have gladly paid a premium price, so as with any fan, to get the complete experience instead of the game been cut up into multiple discs at a probable full retail price so Square Enix can have its fun in milking its fan base.

The Square Enix is yesterday, which was known as Squaresoft, has died. The day where they made such classics as Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, and Secret of the Mana is no more.

Other than being technical showcases,  the Final Fantasy games of today lacks soul and intrigue. The games are shallow and unimaginative with gameplay combat changes that dumbs down the series and in some cases alienates it.

I may give Final Fantasy 7 remake a try once all of the discs becomes available but as far as Final Fantasy 15 goes, I will take a pass.

OH SHIT!! Injustice 2 Gameplay Reveal

The game is not coming out until 2017 but so far it looks extremely promising and I may get a copy of this game for myself.

Here is my theory on Black Goku with the upcoming future trunks arc for Dragon Ball Super

This is an excellent promotional piece for the upcoming Dragon Ball Super Future Trunk's story arc. I love future trunks, mainly due to him rocking a sword and we have had an amazing story arc with him in DBZ. The Android and the Cell sagas were the top best arcs in DBZ history in my regard and to many fans alike. It gave us the iconic villain, Cell, and depicting teen Super Saiyan 2 Gohan as our new hero.

Although I am excited to see the return of Future Trunks and what this new story has to offer, I cannot help but be a little cautious and a bit cynical as well. Candidly speaking, Dragon Ball Super as a whole has not been a good show since its initiation. The series thus far is a disrespectful representation of the DB legacy license/franchise. The animation is cringingly below average at times; there is barely any blood which has a significant impact on the already poorly choreographed fight scenes...it is just not the same.

One Punch Man, one the other hand, is this generation's Dragon Ball Z due to its explosive fights, superb animation, and humor. If it were not for Dragon Ball Z's legacy and nostalgia, I would have been through Dragon Ball Super ages ago.  In spite of the issues I have outlined earlier, there was one particular segment in the series that given me a sliver of hope that the show might get better and that was the fight between Goku and Hit in the last chapters of the tournament arc. That was cool.

In regards of of the upcoming "new Future Trunks story arc," the animation depicted in the promos show signs of improvement. It seems the animation has gotten better and that always is a good thing. However I think there are some probable story discrepancies or plot holes. I will not get into too much detail because it will take took long.

Anyway here are my predictions and theories of what it is to come. I think Black is a different character from Goku. I do not think Black and Goku are one of the same. I think Black is living entity that possesses Goku somehow. I do not think he possessed Goku from the future DBZ timeline since the Goku of that timeline is dead from a fatal heart disease.

Black somehow finds a way to travel back to the current time line and then possess Goku and then we get Black Goku. Remember all of the Z warriors, excluding Trunks, are all dead. Unless this future Trunks is not the same from DBZ trunks because we have Mai as an alley or a love interest for Trunks. I strongly believe this future arc is based on DBS timeline which only makes sense. It only be practical if it is that way because there is no way Mai would have been a love interest or ally for DBZ Future Trunks timeline because all of the Z warriors are dead and there is no dragon balls, hence, Mai would have never been wished to her youthful self so would have been dead by then.

Anyway...let's wait and see how the story turns out. If the story is convoluted but the animation and action are excellent then I would over look the plot holes however I will not be surprised if they are some.

I want Dragon Ball Super to get better because as it is now I do not see the purpose of the series. There is no real threat. The threat we had was the God of Destruction, Beerus, and then the resurrected Freezer. But what else is there to evolve the story and the progression of the characters? I am not a fan of the Super Saiyan Blue form either. It is gimmicky. And the TV version looks terrible compared to its movie adaptation. The animation for DBZ Resurrection of F looks so much better in comparison -- yes I know it is a movie and it is obviously so but the color palette for the TV version is just off and poor in comparison.

I was extremely excited at first for a new Dragon Ball series. When I read that it started before Dragon Ball GT and Akira Toriyama would be helming the project, I got even more excited. They could have taken the series in so many directions. I wanted to see teenage versions of Trunks and Gotens and more character development. Sadly, after all the shit many has said about Dragon Ball GT, myself included, it is still a better series than Dragon Ball Super.  Even the character design for Super Saiyan 4 Goku looks even more interesting and practical than the gimmicky Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan.  Hopefully, this arc will take the show in a new positive perspective but only in time will tell, I guess.

Should you buy Overwatch for the console? Which one is better PC or Console?

I am like in zombie mode right now because I have been playing Overwatch nonstop and hardly slept -- I actually only gotten like 4 hours sleep since I have had the game. It is addictively fun, a game I recommend wholeheartedly for the casual gamer and the competitive game. It seems the PC version is the version that will have the competitive space for esports and the competitive game but not every gamer has a PC or feel comfortable gaming on a PC.  I know Blizzard designed this game to compete with Team Fortress and Esport's game like it so that is why I made the PC comment.

Anyway, fuck that, the game is fun! No, the game is addictively for with lots of charm and diversified characters. It's Overwatch 21 unique characters with quirky personalities that makes the game so engaging and not the typical online shooter. It is a team based shooter that encourages teamwork if one wants to take this game seriously later on but you can play the game casually with random people and still have loads of fun. Play with random online gamers or friends online and the outcome will be the same -- frantic online matches that are loads of fun regardless if you win.

There are many review sites that are more detailed in their reviews. I am not a professional reviewer but I am gamer. It does not matter which platform you buy it from. I have it for the PS4 and it is awesome, there is already a strong community. It takes me less than a minute to find matches so the based is strong there. And here is a little side note, although I do not know the amount of units sold for each platform, it took me a good minute searching for the game because most the Gamestop stores in my area were sold out! To me that is fucking crazy! I guess Gamestop underestimated the popularity or the demand for the game.

The hype is real!! Overwatch is awesome. The price tag is 60 bucks. You are paying 60 bucks for a polished team based shooter that has no campaign mode; it is an online only game. It only offline content is training and it does not have local deathmatch. It is "online team based" game and it will have long term support from Blizzard, trust me. Blizzard has a positive record from supporting their games, even their legacy titles still are supported to this day. This is not your typical COD game where they will be a yearly iteration.  Overwatch is a platform based on the premise that future updates and expansions will have no additional cost. Buy Overwatch, if not now, then buy it later when the price drops.  You will have hell of an excellenting time playing with your friends or blasting your solo up the competitive ranks.

Pros:

  • Excellent characters with unique personalities and playstyles
  • Polished gameplay
  • Tactical depth
  • Masterful presentation and artistic design
Cons:

  • Initial price tag for 60 bucks for an online only game with no campaign might be too much for some

If I were to score it from a scale 1-10 then I will give it a "8/10."

Here's a little side note. My favorite character in the game is Genji. He is the character I have the most fun with. He fits my style perfectly -- a cyborg ninja with shurikens, that can double jump, climb walls in a stealthy fashion, and wields a dragon sword as his ultimate when it's unsheathe. What's not there to love?! I had many epic battles with him online. My PSN is akumous. If you want to see some stream action with Genji game play you can look for my channel on twitch with the same name, akumous, to see Genji action or casual gaming in general.

Is bedding a sexy cosplayer every geek's fantasy or guilty pleasure?

For me it is!! LoL...Honestly I admire cosplayers out there, it is has not only become an art but a niche that is slowly becoming a phenomena. I will not be surprised if one day there is mainstream beauty pageant....wait, hold up, I just remembered guys do participate cosplays as well....:)...No disrespect to the guys out there who have done the hard work but this blog is mostly about the women.

Danielle Vedovelli, a martial artist and a cosplayer, who is so happens to be Brazilian and seems to live in Brazilian. Outside of having a romantic preference for mixed women, I love Brazilian women as well. Anyway, Ms Danielle Vedovelli has done some fine work in capturing the art of cosplaying some of the most iconic gaming female characters of this generation and here are samples of her work.

As you can see, this lady here is extremely hot, and if there is any guy who wants to deny not fantasizing or wishing to have a girlfriend or a significant other that shares the same love and passion for gaming and anime cultures that means he is lying to you.

If you wish to see more or learn more about this lady here is a link to her twitter : https://twitter.com/DanieVedo

Here is Ibuki gameplay and combo potential courtesy from your guys at Capcom Pro Tour. Street Fighter V / 5 - Ibuki Gameplay & Combo Compilation【720p60 Highlig...

As you can see in the video, Ibuki's V-trigger, the bomb, is one of the most powerful tools the character has because it is "unblockable'' and it has tons of mix up tools. Ibuki is going to be one of my characters..it is a bloody shame I have to wait until end of June to play her.

Blizzard didn't you know, the internet is for porn!! So what if the user's making overwatch porn content!!

This summary is not available. Please click here to view the post.

Ibuki's release date as the next DLC character for Street Fighter V is.....

Not happening this for sure! Ibuki is not coming out this month. I got my sources from Capcom's official "Japanese" website...to be more specific...Saikio blog's -- a japanese capcom representative --disclosed the news.

Am I mad the character has been pushed back until the content is more polish? No, I am not mad at that. I am all in for delays if it means the content is going to be more substantial and polish. However, I am mad due to lack of communication and poor public relations management. Additionally, it is extremely antagonizing because they literally waited until the last day of the month, the last fucking day, to say something. Capcom knew the character would have not been ready and leaving us in the dark is unacceptable.

I would have been less mad if they say, "hey guys I know we promised this character to be released in May but to give you a better quality we feel is best to push back the character in June. And to compensate for your inconvenience we will throw in a free stage."  If they had taken that route a lot of fans would not be dirt pissed about the situation.

Yes the character is coming out in June. When you asked? I do not know. It sounds like the character is coming out mid June along with the massive story expansion. I personally do not care with the story expansion and those who did have remote interest in playing the story -- the casual players, mostly -- are having fun playing Overwatch with their friends.

As of now Capcom American has not officially disclose the news to fans in regards of deferred date. Thanks to Saikio blog's we an idea of which month the character is coming out. Is it early June? I do not have a clue...the character with the massive update might come out the last several days of June. It does make more sense from a business perspective to do everything in one shot than multiple updates in one month.

Capcom...you are becoming one of the most pathetic companies of this generation. You screwed fans with Mega Man and you are screwing us with Street Fighter. This is your BIGGEST TITLE and you already fucked up big time with your broken promises and nonexistent PR...

Are you guys understaffed? Do you need a PR guy to do your marketing? I am willing work for you guys once you guys pay me handsomely. Shit even my dog can do a better PR job than you guys...ugh...!!

SNK's hidden gem -- THE LAST BLADE 2....

This is one of SNK's finest fighters that came out in the late 1990s...I came across this game by accident through a computer software emulator called MAME which I used to rock in the past to play classic games.

I am sure there are ways to get it now without paying a dime but it just 15 bucks via PSN network and there is a limited promotional offer for PSN PLUS which ends today at 11:00am so act now if you want the game 13.49. That's a fucking deal right?!! I should know because I bought the game!

Yes it has online play and cross platform play, cross buy, and cross save. Meaning, in other words, you buy it once and you play it on all current Sony platforms -- PS4, PS3, and PS Vita -- which is fucking amazing!

The Last Blade 2 is one of those classical fighters that holds up well even today despite the game is almost 18 years old. I think the game came out 1998, a year before the iconic Mark of the Wolves. The animation is fluid and the art style is charming -- capturing ancient Japanese era with samurai, ninjas, and shaolin monks.

If you are looking for a solid fighter to play with your friends or on the go then this one is a no brainer.

Support these fucking guys. SNK is has made some excellent games in the past.  15 bucks with a gem such as this is not bad. Shit, that is even cheaper than my dates. I spend no less than 180 dollars on my dates...and women wonder why guys get mad when they get some by the end of dates. I mean they get a free meal and they do not have drive. Guys like me make sure they have amazing time, sometimes I take on several dates before I get extremely intimate with them. If a guy is spending all of that money and you know the feelings are not mutual then do not waste the guy's time. It is that simple ladies.

Sorry, I know I get a little off of topic with that analogy but in a nutshell 15 bucks is reasonable...just skip out on that date or a book of PAPA John's pizza for one night..:)

I am not a Capcom whore...I am more depth than what you may think.

I am aware my blog has been mostly Capcom centric or Capcom fighting games in general -- mostly the infamous Street Fighter V -- but I can guarantee you my future posts will be more varied in content.

I am gamer. I love games. And I play a lot of fighting games -- that is my favorite genre due to the wealth of unlimited competition in the online spectrum. My treasured franchises or fighters are Street Fighter series -- Street Fighter Alpha 2 & 3, Street Fighter 3rd Strike, and Street Fighter V despite its lack of content issues -- Marvel Games, mostly Capcom fighting games but I love SNK games as well. I think SNK games have more personality and depth than any Capcom fighter to date. I am still waiting for the long overdue sequel to Fatal Fury: Mark of Wolves. Arc System Works, are not too shabby with their fighters either - I love the BlazBlue and the Guilty Gear series.

I do play other games and I will talk about other games in the future. I am currently excited for Overwatch but I am reluctant to play $60.00 for the console version. I think the PC platform is the way to go. If it were not for Sony and Microsoft butting heads, I believe Blizzard would have made the game cross platform for online play. I would have been more confident in purchasing it then since it does not matter. I will most likely get it for the PS4 and then get it for the PC once I build one of my own.

I am looking forward to play Doom as well. I have been reading a lot of positive reviews from online consensus. My plan is to buy Doom, Uncharted 4, Dark Souls 3, and Overwatch all at one shot, hoping those games will be discounted to more than 30 bucks.

Outside of gaming I will most likely share my opinion on movies, anime, and random economic and social stuff.

In a nutshell, this is blog is about me and my passions and concerns and I will I want to share my life you all.

Capcom when is ibuki being release? And what about the other content you've promise us such as the daily challenges and other updates? What about the rage quitters?

How is it fair to release a bare bones game, Street Fighter V, for the price at 60 dollars in a market where there are games out for free, literally for free, but yet you failed to communicate with the fans on the promises made.

Capcom you said to us,  "sorry for releasing an unfinished product but we promise to release DLC content that is attainable via game currency -- fight money -- and you will have these updates every month. Here are the DLC characters that will be out each month until the month of  September and in June we will have a massive update with with offline story content and other goodies to come with future updates"

Actual power point layout of Capcom's SFV DLC initiative which was presented  publically via conference.

It is May 30th and we are one day shy from June and although we are firmly aware of which character is coming out this month -- albeit I would have prefer the trailer releasing the middle of the month instead of last two fucking days of the month -- we are left in the dark with other things. For instance, when exactly is Ibuki being available? Is the character releasing today in a few hours or is it happening tomorrow or is it not happening this month? What about the broken counter system to discourage rage quitters that was implemented?  What about the online challenges to receive additionally fight money because most players tapped out all of it and the 50 credit fight money one wins per match is not nearly as attractive as the 1000 fight money.

You know what is worser than vague communication? No communication is. Capcom you are like an abusive bitch who wants all and do not want to give back or contribute to the relationship. You say you are sorry for fucking up and we forgiven you but yet you fall back in your broken ways because you are abusing our unconditional love and loyalty.

Well Capcom, most of us will continued to be loyal and take the fucking abuse because we love the game so much but most of will not.

Capcom I am going to be frank with you. You have fucked up and if you continue with this bad practice you will not increase the installed user base for this game. Other users, however, will not stand for this bullshit and move on to better games. We live in an age and internet age where bad word spreads fast like wildfire and thanks to mobile gaming and the multitude of free games, this generation of gamers have tolerance is low as fuck. They just say fuck it and move on. That simple.

Phew...OK I am done ranting...

Capcom this is what I recommend to fix this fucked up situation of yours. Below is the list of following to fix this cluster fuck up of a game:

  • Patch the game to make all of the colors for both default costumes and alternative costumes from 1 to 10 to be unlocked. Fans both casual and tournament HATE that boring grind fuckery that is called survival mode. There is not even a leaderboard incentive for all of that hard work!! Who the fuck had the audacity to design survival mode without a leadership board?!

  • Communication -- is it so hard to communicate to the fans? We want more transparency! We deserved it. We, the early adopters, spent 60 dollars on a full priced game but given a lackluster half arse game that is only worth 1/3 of the full retail price. Personally the game should have been a free-to-play as with just online and versus until the rest of content and bug fixes are fully fleshed-out and then charge a disc version after.  Killer Instinct for the Xbox One did it, and they are doing an amazing job. And maybe you should look at them for tips on how one should treat their community.

  • Incentive the fans for all the fucks up you have done until now -- give away 500,000.00 fight money and other goodies for free to all the fans as a big apology note and appreciate for their continued support.

  • Revamped the current online modes and add more modes to encourage and increase community involvement such as the ability for users to create user based content and other modes for tournament like setting online.

  • Lastly but surely not least, absorb what works for other game studios to see what works for their games and listen to fans in terms of what they want to see because as you said in the past Street Fighter V is going to be used as a platform and the additional content will be built on it. Fans of the fighting game community has amazing ideas to make this game fun and dynamic. Shit, I would like to see an online mode wager system where players bet against other players using their fight money.

In conclusion, Capcom cannot continue mistreating their loyal fan base and expecting us to continue supporting their games with their poor marketing and public relations. It is not fair. Something has to be been, something drastic, to fix this situation. I do not want to see Street Fighter V fail or become the next Street Fighter X Tekken. I love this game. It has one of the best fighting ever made for a Street Fighter game to date but it fails to live up to contemporary standards. Capcom you are doing a terrible job in improving the community experience.

The public relations or the marketing team should have been aggressive on this. Weekly updates and discussions to keep the community engage. If the development team reaches a temporary roadblock, communicate it with the fans. Regardless if the news is good or ill, communicate it with the fans, they will love you for it.

This game was designed with the concepts of ESports in mind but you are doing a poor fucking job in releasing technical and supplementary information to the community.

I am not a sponsored player or a tournament organizer that needs your contributions to support my tournament scene, so I have the liberty to say you are fucking up. I am sure everyone that shares the same passion for this game as much as I do have the same sentiments I have but are scared to say. Anyway Capcom, FUCK YOU, and fix this game.

OMG, Capcom actually has a SFV: Guile Official Character Guide

Accidentally, I came across this by Capcom's official Street Fighter youtube page...I am actually quite shocked they did not make a lot of noise about this because it will surely put guys like me to rest with my rants. However, I have a sound reason, because there is no marketing or in game cue signaling the player that such video exists.

Capcom I strongly recommend implementing this in the game as a patch because it could be useful to many players in respects of the basics.

Kindly visit Capcom's youtube page and look at the various guides they have up. They don't have all of the characters but they have a decent amount.

SFV: Ibuki Reveal Trailer

Ibuki is seems to be the third DLC character and not balrog.

Ibuki's Critical Art move! RASENGAN!!...err not really..:)

I guess Capcom's Ibuki and Naurto had a talk because Ibuki borrow a few tricks from Naurto anime such as the ninja bombs, ninja illusions, and her critical almost reminiscent of Naurto's signature move the famous RASENGAN!!!

She looks awesome!! Good job for Capcom illustrating the character on one of the biggest major fighting game tournament to get the buzz going. Quite an impressive trailer illustrating the character's mix up potential and numerous shenanigans to keep the opponent confused and reckless.  She doesn't play like her former iterations, a lot of moves and specials been changed and updated to keep her fresh and dynamic even her traditional ninja attire has been changed. She sports hybrid outfit with a Japanese School Girl outfit coupled with ninja like gauntlets, boots, and semi ninja masked, just masking her mouth.

As you can tell I am extremely pleased with the character's aesthetics and Capcom made a smart choice of mixing things up a bit and not release another charge character in a consecutive fashion.

Sadly, there is not an announce date on when the character is going to be available.  It is the 29th and tomorrow is a national holiday. I doubt she's going to be available tomorrow or maybe so.  I wonder if Capcom is going to hold off on the character until next month and ease fans' rage with additional content coupled with Ibuki's availability because I have this gut feeling Capcom is lagging behind their initial schedule. Anyway we will see in due time.
