Hi guys, the name is akumous -- a gamer -- and this is my blog it is about my one of many passions such as video games. Basically this is centrally my gamer's blog where I will not post about videogames but other geeky material such as anime, comic book films, hardware, and I will occasionally vent about the nonsense that antagonize me about the gaming industry. Although this blog is a work in progress...it is my tool for escapism and fun. Thanks in advance for following my page.

Nintendo's 2016 E3 segment is..atrocious and..
Underwhelming...Nintendo is done in my regard. If I were a Nintendo Wii U owner, which I am not, thank God, what game other than The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, I have to look forward to? Nothing! That is a failed console and any smart gamer that has not owned a Nintendo Wii U console will wait it out for the next console, the Nintendo NX, to play new Zelda title.
Nintendo's E3 conference is the worse out of the three. They have nothing to show to fans other than Zelda and Pokeman and there is absolutely nothing there to usher in new users.
To be honest, I am not even impressed with the New Zelda title...it looks dated and behind in terms of gameplay innovation. There are so many alternatives that have done it be better, the only thing it has going for it is its legacy name.
Nintendo I think you should focus your resources and making software and exit out the hardware department. The company is stuck in a vacuum. I am sorry if I hurt some nintendo loyalist out there but it is the truth. The Nintendo Wii, catered a market that was ignored -- the casual market -- and it struck gold. They sold tons of consoles but the console's quirky control design alienated a lot of developers coupled with its underpowered gaming system which could not ports properly. They tried their luck with the Wii U but they failed in that department as well.
The only thing that saves Nintendo is its first party titles and every Nintendo fan knows if you want to play there games you have to own their console. However, there are so many innovative and better third party games out there that are not on Nintendo's platform.
The gaming market has changed...and only Sony and Microsoft are making efforts to remain relevant. Nintendo is still lost in time.
